Our current full-time vacancies

You will ensure:

  • a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
  • courteous and efficient customer-oriented communication
  • reservations, invoicing, and follow-up of events and bookings
  • the organization of transport for our guests
  • a smooth flow of information to housekeeping, front-of-house, and the kitchen
  • correct solutions for complaints

You are:

Your skills:

  • Education or experience
  • Creating cakes and desserts for buffets, plated desserts, and sweet treats for coffee breaks
  • Very varied and diverse work: corporate events, weddings, à la carte
  • You are part of an enthusiastic and dynamic kitchen team
  • You assist with the service
  • Weekend work, 1 to 2 Sundays off per month, 5-day week

Tasks:

  • You receive the event file and then get to work on its correct interpretation: what happens where and when
  • You ensure a perfect setup of the rooms with an eye for detail and take care of the proper mise en place
  • You are the point of contact for the client; you check the day’s agenda and ensure the smooth running of the event within the set timing
  • You ensure good communication with colleagues and the kitchen
  • You are responsible for delegating, directing, and coaching staff during the event itself
  • You keep track of stock and consumption during the event
  • You look ahead to the coming days and see what can already be organized

Profile:

  • You have a well-groomed appearance, and are neat and precise
  • Your native language is Dutch or French, but the other national language is no problem. English is a plus.
  • You are a true ‘people person’ and customer-oriented. You enjoy contact with customers and feel instant happiness when guests are enjoying themselves.
  • Stress-resistant with an excellent “helicopter view”. A professional, flawless, yet almost invisible service.
  • You enjoy a varied and diverse job
  • You can anticipate and organize, you are solution-oriented and have a ‘hands-on’ mentality
  • You can motivate others and lead your colleagues, but you are not afraid to roll up your own sleeves
  • You like to stay active, have good physical strength, and sitting still is not for you
  • You have no problem with a flexible schedule and are aware that this is primarily an evening job
  • You have a category B driver’s license and your own car

  • You work efficiently and quickly, but with the necessary eye for cleanliness and respect for the equipment.
  • Experience is not required, only the will to work and flexibility.
  • You are flexible and work well in a team.
  • You handle kitchen preparations and assist with the service.
  • Setting up the kitchen and supplies on time is a must.
  • You are stress-resistant, love a challenge, and take pride in making delicious food.
  • You are willing to work weekends.
  • You speak Dutch and/or French or are willing to learn.
  • We are a family-run hospitality business with an emphasis on catering.
  • You are responsible for the hotel restaurant from Monday to Thursday evenings.
  • You can work independently and have knowledge of French-Belgian cuisine.
  • Setting up the kitchen and supplies on time is a must.
  • You are stress-resistant, love a challenge, and take pride in making delicious food.
  • You speak Dutch and/or French or are willing to learn.
  • We are a family-run hospitality business with an emphasis on catering.
  • You are flexible and work well in a team.
  • You are responsible for your section and for starting the service.
  • You can work independently and have knowledge of French-Belgian cuisine.
  • Setting up the kitchen and supplies on time is a must.
  • You are stress-resistant, love a challenge, and take pride in making delicious food.
  • You are willing to work weekends.
  • You speak Dutch and/or French or are willing to learn.
  • We are a family-run hospitality business with an emphasis on catering.
